MGH Announces Rebrand and Name Change
Marion Health announced today it has undergone a name change and rebrand. Effective Oct. 1, 2021, the healthcare system will be known as “Marion Health”. The 120-year-old healthcare organization will remain an independent, not-for-profit, private healthcare system headquartered in Marion, Ind. The hospital, located at 441 N. Wabash Ave., will be referred to as “Marion Health- Marion Health Campus”. MGH’s twelve satellite locations will also adopt the “Marion Health” name. The rebrand was initiated to align the brand with the hospital’s continually expanding commitment to provide innovative, high-quality patient care to the area.
About the logo
The logo is representative of Marion Health’s continual active growth and positive movement. The new design is reflective of the foundational icon of the Red Cross and the expanding ripple of Marion Health’s impact on the community. The design presents Marion Health as approachable and expansive, making a bold and long-lasting imprint on the community.
The mark maintains a steady embrace around the center and welcomes patients into a similar embrace. This compassionate network of growth remains rooted in Marion Health’s integrity, innovation, and holistic care as it reaches more patients and their communities.
“This is yet another exciting step on our path into the future,” said Stephanie Hilton-Siebert, President and CEO. “This will be a calculated, phased approach where the healthcare system will first update patient-facing items to be launched on Oct. 1, with other internal branded materials to follow.”
The healthcare system will continue to prepare for an official launch on Oct. 1, 2021. Until then, the healthcare system will operate under the name Marion Health.
