Ndow Named on "71 Community Hospital CIOs to Know" 2019 List
Emmanuel J. Ndow, MBA, CPHIMS, CHCIO, Chief Information Officer at Marion
General Hospital, has been named on the “71 Community Hospital CIOs
to Know” 2019 list.
The CIOs on this list all lead the health IT teams at community hospitals
and health systems. The individuals highlighted have implemented EHR systems,
lead cybersecurity initiatives and oversee telehealth/telemedicine programs.
Community hospital CIOs must be skilled at building teams and working
across departments to build and deliver a successful health IT infrastructure.
Ndow’s career in information technology spans 25 years, with 14 of those years served at Marion Health. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Wabash College and his master’s degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Ndow is currently a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), and the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
