Newest Cardiologist Welcomed to MGH

Marion Health is pleased to welcome Aravind Sekhar, M.D, to its medical staff.

Dr. Sekhar earned his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, India. He completed a PhD Program in Molecular Medicine at Hannover Medical School, Germany.

Sekhar completed an internal medicine internship at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and an internal medicine residency at the University of Utah Medical Center, UT. He finished a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, KY.

He completed an interventional cardiology fellowship from Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, NJ.

He joins the talented physicians and staff at St. Vincent Medical Group Cardiology – Marion, located at 330 N. Wabash Ave., Suite 110. Patients may call 765-664-1201 to schedule an appointment.
