Marion General Hospital's Herres Recognized as Certified Professional

Sherree Herres, MBA, CMPE, Practice Administrator at Marion Health, has earned the professional designation of Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) by the American College of Medical Practice Executives, the certification entity of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).

She joins a select group of more than 6,600 professionals nationally with the CMPE certification. MGMA is a national organization with more than 33,000 members.

The designation of CMPE demonstrates that Herres has achieved board certification in medical practice management. Certification requires that the candidate successfully completes rigorous essay and objective examinations that access knowledge of the broad scope of medical practice management skills sets.

A Marion native, Herres started her career with Marion Health in 1997.
