MGH Nurse Earns Professional Certification

Lindsay Harness, BSN, RN, Emergency Department, is now a certified sexual assault nurse examiner - adult/adolescents (SANE-A) from the International Association of Forensic Nurses. Harness earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from IUPUI.

Her family includes mom Dawn, dad Richard, brother Luke (an EMT at Marion Health), and sister Lacy. Hobbies and interests include playing bass, guitar, and singing in a band named Carmichael. She grew up singing in the Harness Family Band.

A Marion native, Harness has been at Marion Health for four years. “My co-workers are the best part of my job. They make me want to come to work. Teamwork is the only way we make it through each shift.”
