MGH Nurses Earn Professional Certifications
The following Marion Health nurses have earned professional certification within their field . . .
Bonnie Miltenberger, BSN, RN, Nursing Administration, has received her Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). Miltenberger resides in Marion with her husband, Scott. She and her husband have three children, two sons, Trey and Brett, and daughter, Missy. The 17-year Marion Health employee is “proud to be part of the MGH team, because of the family environment and the excellent care that is provided."
Teresa Sutton, BSN, RN, unit shift manager in Telemetry, has earned her CMSRN® Certification from the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board. Sutton, an IndianaWesleyanUniversity graduate, resides in Marion with her husband, Heath. She and her husband have three children, two sons, Josh and Hayden, and daughter, Mackenzie. “I love working with so many great people throughout the hospital,” she says. Sutton has worked at Marion Health for 14 years.
Victoria Etchison, BSN, RN, CCM, QI/Care Continuum Department, is now a certified case manager (CCM). The Commission for Case Manager Certification recently awarded her with the distinction. Etchison is also a Certified Nursing Assistant Program Director. She has a bachelor's degree in nursing from BallStateUniversity and has worked at Marion Health for 5 years. A native of Alexandria, Etchison enjoys working at “a small community hospital that functions independently, as well as the kind, courteous staff.”
Karen Hopkins, MSN, RN-BC, Nursing Administration, is now board certified in Nursing Professional Development from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The 15-year Marion Health employee earned her master’s in nursing education at IndianaWesleyanUniversity. Hopkins enjoys running, hiking, cooking and sewing. She resides in Marion with her husband Eric, son Jake, daughter-in-law Jordan, stepdaughter Julia, and granddaughter Ali.
Chau Jackson, BSN, RN-BC, is now board certified in Cardiac-Vascular Nursing from the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC). Born in Vietnam, the IndianaWesleyanUniversity graduate currently resides in Marion with her husband Steve and their children. “Marion is my new second hometown and I want to work where I live,” she says. Jackson has worked at Marion Health for 2 years. She is also a Parish Nurse and volunteers for Bridges to Health.
