President and CEO Earns HFMA Recertification

Marion Health’s Paul L. Usher, president and CEO, was recently recertified as a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

With more than 39,000 members, HFMA is the nation’s leading membership organization for healthcare financial management executives and leaders.

Usher is a former president of the Indiana chapter and has been a member of HFMA for 44 years. He is also a past recipient of the Stanley A. Pressler Award, the most prestigious award bestowed by the Indiana HFMA chapter.

A Marion native, Usher earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting from Ball State University. He is a certified public accountant and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.

Usher is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
