New Leadership Begins Duties

With the recent retirement of Linda Owen, Dr. Arun Tewari, hospitalist program medical director, will be taking over administrative duties for Case Management, Quality, and Social Services. Dr. Tewari received his bachelor’s degree and M.D. from Case Western University in Cleveland, OH, and completed his internal medicine residency at Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN.

To assist Dr. Tewari, Angela Mounsey, RN, has accepted the position for the new Manager of Case Management and Quality. Mounsey has worked at Marion Health since September of 2001. She is a past graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Mounsey is also a Parish Nurse and CPR instructor for MGH.

Mounsey will support Dr. Tewari in managing the daily operations of the Social Services, Case Management, and Quality departments. Both leaders will be working to identify systems and processes to meet the hospital’s legal and accreditation requirements.
