Usher Earns HFMA Recertification

Marion Health’s Paul L. Usher, president and CEO, was recently recertified as a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

With more than 34,000 members, HFMA is the nation’s leading membership organization for healthcare financial management executives and leaders.

Usher is a former president of the Indiana chapter and has been a member of HFMA for 41 years. He is also a past recipient of the Stanley A. Pressler Award, the most prestigious award bestowed by the Indiana HFMA chapter. Prior to becoming president and CEO in 2008, Usher served as Marion Health’s chief financial officer for 25 years.

A Marion native, Usher earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting from Ball State University. He is a certified public accountant and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Association. Usher is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
