Marion Family Practice Joins MGH

Marion Family Practice (MFP) physicians and support staff, located at the Northwood Medical Center, 1391 N. Baldwin Avenue, will become a part of the Marion Health employed physician group on July 1. The MGH employed physician group consists of eight (8) physician offices located throughout Marion, Gas City, Fairmount, Converse, and Swayzee.

MFP physicians currently include: Jeffrey Bragg, D.O.; James Orrell, M.D.; Calvin Russell, M.D., and Mark Westfall, M.D. Brenda (Bardsley) Woods, M.D., a Marion native who is excited to return to Grant County to practice medicine, will be joining MFP in mid-July.

This move will allow us to provide the best possible care to our patients and to better position ourselves in the wake of National Health Care Reform,” states Dr. James Orrell. “With Marion Health, we will now have access to a multitude of resources previously not available to us in private practice.”

For the convenience of patients, Marion Health will open Marion Health Diagnostics at the Northwood Medical Center in the near future to support the physicians with offices in the Center. MGH Diagnostics Centers provide laboratory specimen collection and EKGs. MGH currently provides Physical Therapy and Sleep Lab services at Northwood Medical Center.

Due to its long-standing recognition in the community, Marion Family Practice will continue to practice under its existing name, with the location and phone numbers remaining the same.
