Professional Certifications Received

Connie Atchison, R.N., Family Birthing Center, has received her Inpatient Obstetric Nursing Certification from the National Certification Corporation. Atchison, a Ball State University graduate, resides in Marion with her husband, Gary. She and her husband have two children, a son, Rob (wife, Lisa) and daughter, Khristian. The 5-year Marion Health employee enjoys working at MGH, "because it is a small hospital where everyone knows each other and is very friendly and caring."

Melo-Dee Perez, R.N., M.S., Administrative Director of Cardiovascular Service Line and Chest Pain Center Coordinator, is now a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. She received the designation through Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Perez received her nursing degree from Purdue University and a master's from Indiana Wesleyan. She and her three daughters, Jac-Lyn, Ka-Lyn and Cort-Lyn reside in Marion.
