Nurses Receive CMSRN Certification

Beth Foss, BSN, RN, medical/surgical, has received CMSRN® certification from the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN). Foss, an Indiana Wesleyan University graduate, resides in Marion with her husband, John, and two children, Alyssa and Chris. Two other sons, Seth and Josh, are grown and married. The 22-year Marion Health employee's philosophy on providing nursing care is simply, "We care for our patients as if they were our own family."

Karen Foust, BSN, RN, medical/surgical, has received CMSRN® certification from the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN). The 33-year employee and her family, husband; Bob, daughter; Emily, and son Carl, live in Marion. Foust graduated from Marion College (now IWU) "I like seeing the progress patients make after having surgery," states Foust. "It is exciting and rewarding to know I helped in their surgery. Every day is different."
