Cornelious Named Administrative Director for 2010

Effective Jan. 1, 2010, Tammy Cornelious, MBA, R.N., will begin her management duties as the new Administrative Director of Marion Health Emergency Services, which includes the Emergency Room, Admission Intake Unit and Ambulance services.

Cornelious has worked in the Emergency Department at Marion Health since Dec. 1990. She graduated from Parkview School of Nursing in 1987, received her BSN in 1998 and her MBA in 2008; both from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Cornelious looks forward to performing her new leadership duties in Jan. "I am honored to lead them and could not imagine working any place else," states Cornelious. "I truly enjoy working with the staff and I admire the work that they do."

She and her family, husband, Bill, and two sons, Justin and Jordan live in Point Isabel.
