Experienced Cardiologist Joins Staff

Marion Health is pleased to welcome James MacKrell, M.D, F.A.C.C., to its medical staff. Dr. MacKrell received his bachelor’s degree with Honors from the University of Notre Dame. He earned a M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA, and completed an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the same location.

Dr. MacKrell is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He comes to Marion with twenty years of prior experience at Consultants in Cardiovascular Diseases, Inc. in Erie, PA. He joins the talented physicians and staff at The Heart Center of Marion, located at 330 N. Wabash Ave., Suite 110.
